Certified Nurseries (formerly Certified Roses, Inc.) is a leading producer and seller of garden roses serving customers throughout the U.S. The company began in 1949 as Cooperative Rose Growers, which consisted of fifty rose growers in East Texas and our processing facility in Tyler, Texas.
Today, with a 70+ year history, Certified has expanded to offer a broad selection of over 150 roses, including 30 patented roses. You can purchase our products online and at more than 5,000 retail outlets, including independent garden centers, mid-size hardware stores, and mass merchandisers.
Our product line features our best sellers, My Bouquet and the Painters collections, along with a high-quality selection of western grown roses spanning traditional hybrid teas and floribundas to hardy shrub roses.
Research & Development
Our Research & Development team travels the globe — from Europe to South Africa to New Zealand and beyond — to bring home gardeners the next generation of roses.
We’re constantly searching for exceptional new varieties that are healthy, hardy, and disease resistant. Each year, we test and evaluate hundreds of new varieties to deliver the right genetics to the right regions.
